This campout was part of my Wood Badge leadership training program. The theme was diversity - in addtion to spending the weekend in Coalwood & Welch Wv with Crew 299 Jr Special Forces we brought along donations to benifit the schools of Mcdowell county WV and the 150th WVNG - donations exceeded $2500.00 in value

It does not get any better than this - lots of great food - all the family together - warm cabins and flush toliets:) This is an annual tradtion in Troop 701

This is the annual winter hike thru the Hocking Hills - 7.5 miles - with 4000 of your best friends - hike takes you thru Ash cave, old mans cave & Cedar Falls

These are photos of the Troop with the 1st day working towards earning the BSA Physical Fitness award and the BSA Personal Fitness merit badge which is Required to earn Eagle Scout Rank

The Boys & adult leaders spent the day cleaning & chain sawing fallen trees. The youth earned the Fort Ancient award for thier service project and the Historic Trails award. We had a side trip to Ceasers Creek State park for some fossil hunting

A Court of Honor is used as a family gathering to recognize the efforts of the Youth, Volunteers and leaders of a Troop and the community that it works within.
